Kate Reynolds Talley

Baker & Owner

 

I am a self-taught baker who was not raised in the kitchen, but have always had a passion for preparing and eating good food with friends and family.  Since my early childhood I have enjoyed watching television shows about cooking and baking, and then putting the best of those recipes to the test!  There have been many successes and more than a few “learning opportunities” along the way, but I’m excited to now put that knowledge to work for you.


I have been married to my husband David for close to 20 years. We have two teenage sons who eat us out of house and home. We live in Frankfort, KY with our dog Luke and our cat Oreo.

 

I was born in Owensboro and moved to Frankfort in 1989. I attended Good Shepherd School, Frankfort High School, and received my Associate’s Degree from Sullivan University in Administrative Office Management. I was an Army wife in Oklahoma for a few years before returning home in 2008. I currently work full-time at the Legislative Research Commission; I love my job and the people I work with. 

 

Life can be stressful at times, but baking and cooking are my stress relievers. I enjoy creating custom dishes and special treats for others. My love language is food! It allows me to tell people how much I care about them and I’d love to do that for you!

 

I am extremely close to my family and friends. If I’m not working or spending time at home, you are most likely to find me with them. I love to travel, read, try new foods, relax at the beach, and play games. Currently, I’m trying to enjoy these next few years with my boys at home before they leave the nest for new life adventures.
